None of the Animorphs could have predicted that one day they would be morphing animals and fighting aliens. If they could have, maybe they would’ve prepared themselves by getting cozy with our furry and feathered friends (on top of brushing up on their strategic defense tactics, of course).
Thankfully, one Animorph did have a head start in the animal department — and that's our farm–raised, creature–loving Cassie. But what about Nadia Nascimento who played Cassie on Animorphs TV? Was she prepared to be bonding with the beasts?
Not exactly. But Nadia IS an adventurer and loved the idea of getting up close and personal with exotic animals like Bongo, Bill, and Lena, the lion and tigers of Animorphs TV. The funny thing is, she was not so crazy about one of the less exotic Animorphs’ animals — Foxfire the horse. While she admits she was "infatuated" with Bongo, she got the shakes when she was around Foxfire. She was once thrown from a horse and has been afraid of them ever since. It's a good thing Cassie morphs INTO a horse, instead of riding on one!
