This school year has been a year of giving and caring. The One for Books activity gave schools the opportunity to collect donations from families and local businesses. The money was used to build classroom libraries or buy books for kids who cannot afford them.

For every dollar collected, Scholastic Book Fairs donated a book to Kids In Distressed Situations and other non-profit organizations. Because of incredible generosity, we will reach our goal of donating one million books by the end of the school year!
