Alexander Stadler is the author and illustrator of numerous books for children and adults, including the Julian Rodriguez series, the Beverly Billingsly series and What Willie Wore. He has also worked in the fashion industry, designing prints for Todd Oldham, Comme des Garçons and babyGap.
Mr. Stadler studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and graduated with a BFA in Printmaking.
Mr. Stadler has lived in San Francisco and Buenos Aires. He has two sisters and three brothers, five nieces and three nephews. At present he lives with his partner and two dogs in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
