Skibidi Toilet is about to get even bigger with novels, graphic novels and more!
New York, NY – March 13, 2025 – Scholastic, the global children’s publishing, education, and media company, announced it will be publishing various Skibidi Toilet books in partnership with Invisible Narratives, the first-of-its-kind Tra-Digital studio merging traditional entertainment with the creator economy.
“What Boom! created with Skibidi Toilet is a true phenomenon—completely unconventional, wildly entertaining, and impossible to ignore. Scholastic is the perfect partner to channel that energy into books that will engage and surprise fans,” says Adam Goodman, Founder and CEO of Invisible Narratives. “This is about pushing creator-driven franchises beyond their original platforms and reaching new audiences in unexpected ways. Skibidi has taken off in gaming and video, and publishing is the next natural step as fans look for new ways to explore its world beyond the screen.”
Since its debut as a viral YouTube video by Boom! in February 2023, Skibidi Toilet has evolved into one of the most globally recognized digital series, captivating audiences with its signature blend of unique style, immersive storytelling, and the Skibidi Creator Alliance community. This network of collaborators, along with the series’ main channel with over 45 million subscribers, collectively totals over 110 million subscribers and garners tens of billions of views. Together, they have continuously expanded the Skibidi Toilet universe, cementing its place as a defining cultural phenomenon for Generation Alpha.
Building on this success, the series is now making its way into books for readers of all ages. Scholastic, in partnership with Invisible Narratives, will publish in print, ebook and audio formats a wide range of titles. Scholastic has acquired world and all language rights to the franchise.
“We are beyond thrilled to be the publishing partner for one of the most groundbreaking and unique properties of our time— a true cultural phenomenon that resonates with readers of all ages. It’s an extraordinary opportunity to be part of a frenetic, unpredictable, funny and sometimes unsettling narrative that has sparked conversations and imaginations throughout global media and across generations. I can't wait to help bring this powerful narrative to even more fans around the world through our books,” says Debra Dorfman, VP & Publisher Global Licensing Brands & Media at Scholastic.
Starting in Summer 2025, Scholastic will publish a young adult novel in eBook format, and in the Fall 2025 an in-world guidebook and two additional eBook novels. In early 2026 Scholastic will collect all three eBooks in one print novel and publish an original coloring book. An original graphic novel and a novelty sticker book will follow in summer 2026.
