Oscar the long, brown Dachshund, is upset as other dogs point and laugh, calling him "Wiener Dog". He is embarrassed by his mother when she waves goodbye on his way to school because the other dogs, and some cats, laugh at that too. But when he is sitting at his desk at school, Oscar happily daydreams of the moon, ghosts, and jack-o-lanterns that he will see on Halloween night.
