1. When will
Scholastic ship the fifth Harry Potter novel?
As reported in the press, JK Rowling is still writing the fifth
Harry Potter novel. When she finishes the manuscript and passes
it on to us we will set a publication schedule and let you know
our publication plans.
2. Has the
title of Harry Potter V been finalized?
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (ISBN 0-439-35806-X)
is our working title. If the title changes we will let you know.
3. When can
I place my order?
As soon as we have the finished manuscript, we will announce a publication
date. At that time, you will be able to order the book. We cannot
process orders until the pub date is announced.
4. Will there
be national on-sale date?
Yes, when we begin to process orders your sales rep will give you
shipping and lay-down details. To receive books prior to the on-sale
date, retailers and distributors must agree to abide by the terms
of Scholastic's 2003 On-Sale Date
Policy. If you haven't already done so, please sign your contract
and send it to Scholastic promptly. Click
