Our goal is to reflect the children of the world on the pages of our books and through the support materials we provide for educators and parents. To meet this goal, the kids, teachers, and families we reach must be reflected in those of us who create the materials that serve them.

When you benefit, we benefit

Our desire to attract and nurture the best and brightest has us doing all we can to offer the best healthcare, short- and long-term disability and life insurance plans. It's all about community

Active participation in our community is a fundamental part of Scholastic’s mission. Because of this, Scholastic has given each employee eight hours of civic volunteer time to serve the community, area, or city of their choosing based on their interests. This is time that we can dedicate to serving communities, some may decide to participate as a poll worker during the elections, volunteer with the local Habitat for Humanity , or attend a local rally. By supporting and encouraging employees to offer their time and talent to respond to local needs, Scholastic provides an opportunity for employees to use their skills and interests to have a positive impact on the communities around them.

Work life at Scholastic is balanced- especially during challenging times. We offer flexible arrangements, time off for volunteering, and so much more to keep you healthy, safe, and productive. We understand that work arrangements are not a one-size-fits-all and we adjust our work schedules and arrangements to the nature and specifics of each role.
