Marc's Presentation
"In 30 years of hosting bestselling authors, Marc's presentation was the best I have ever witnessed. Judging from the student response, he transformed what it means to be a writer."
—Karen Palko, middle school teacher, International School of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Marc's multidisciplinary presentation is a jaw-dropping detective epic revealing secrets he uncovered and mysteries he solved while researching his books. The interactive social justice story is rich with character development, namely the importance of being persistent and sticking up for oneself and others. Marc challenges kids, respects their intelligence, and pumps them up about writing, reading, and the adventure of research. His presentation culminates in not one but three emotional twists that vividly show how, despite the odds, children's literature—and any one person—can change the world. It has elicited raves (and often tears) from students and teachers worldwide.
"I have known Marc and his work with children in schools for at least eight years and I can tell you with complete honesty that he is the best, the very best, in inspiring children. He is able to empathize with them (and adults, also) to an incredible degree. I cannot recommend him highly enough."
—Susie Mee, Director, Authors Read Aloud (a Learning Leaders program), New York, NY
