Tobias is often misunderstood. He’s a shy, quiet, parentless boy who is bullied at school and ignored by an uncaring uncle at home. But he becomes the first of the Animorphs to morph, and convinces Jake to lead the group. As a result of Jake saving Tobias from a group of bullies, Tobias strongly believes in Jake’s leadership skills and rarely questions him.
