What's your pen-pal style?
Pen pals—you could have the "old-fashioned" type,
who write letters and send them in the mail, or you could be e-pals,
and just send e-mails to someone far away. Either way you choose,
there are all different types of pen-pal "personalities"
out there—find your pen-pal style today!
1. How often do you write to your friend?
A. II respond every time my friend writes to me.
B. Whenever I think of it, or have something to say.
C. Usually when my friend writes to me, but sometimes I forget.
D. Uhhh... rarely, if ever.
2. What kind of paper do you use when you write letters?
A. I have all kinds of fancy paper, scented paper, and stickers.
B. Notebook paper, but the pink, blue, or purple kind.
C. I rip some pages out of my notebook or binder.
D. Scrap paper or napkins-but only clean napkins!
3. What is the opening line of your letters?
A. Dear... and I use their name.
B. Hey, what's up?
C. Knock Knock!
D. My Dear Sweet Friend.
4. What's going on in your friend's life?
A. SO MUCH! I don't have enough time to tell you because I'm writing
to my friend now.
B. The usual-school, family, stuff like that.
C. My friend heard a great joke (it's too long to tell here).
D. Err... I don't really know. Sorry.
5.How long have you been writing to each other?
A. For a while, we know each other like we've been friends forever.
B. A bit of time-I think we could be friends if we knew each other.
C. Longer than an episode of Punk'd.
D. Once a year or so-for a few years.
6. When is your friend's birthday?
A. I have it marked on my calendar, and I will be sending a present.
B. Sometime between April and June. I should ask to be sure.
C. I don't know, but I'd call my friend "old" if I did.
D. I suppose it would be the day that my friend was born, right?
7. When was the last time you got a letter from your
friend?
A. This morning-and it had glitter stars inside.
B. The other day-I'm gonna write back this weekend.
C. Last week-and it had a cool comic poster inside.
D. Six, seven, eight months ago, maybe?
8. Do you ever send anything other than just a letter?
A. Birthday gifts, holiday cards, pictures, drawings, books-you name
it!
B. I put some stickers and candy in-once or twice.
C. I sent my friend a stupid joke book-and got back a big LOL!
D. Sending a letter is a lot of work-I have to do MORE?
9. Do you have any questions for your friend that you
wouldn't dare put in writing?
A. No. There is no topic that is off limits between good friends.
B. Some, but they are mostly about boys.
C.YES. LOTS!! But I can't write them here, either!
10. Does your friend have a pet?
A. Yes, I sent my friend's pet a present for its birthday, too!
B. I think my friend mentioned a dog once or twice.
C. Do rubber chickens count as pets?
D. I really couldn't tell you. And I'm not gonna find out.
